Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-23. This policy explains what cookies and browser-storage technologies BrazilianFunk.com uses, why, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What we use today
BrazilianFunk.com is designed to work without tracking cookies. Today the site stores only functional preferences, saved in your browser's local storage (not cookies):
- Music player preferences — volume, mute state, and whether you stopped the background player, so the site respects your choice on your next visit.
These preferences never leave your device and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
What we do not use today
- No behavioral analytics or cross-site tracking cookies set by us.
- No social-media tracking pixels.
- No active display advertising — no ad units serve on any page, so no ad impressions, ad personalization, or ad measurement take place.
Third-party content
Artist pages link out to Spotify, YouTube, and Instagram. When you follow those links or interact with third-party players, those services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. We do not control those cookies.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Google’s official AdSense script (publisher ID ca-pub-3907712830422560) is loaded on every page of this site to verify the site with Google and prepare for possible future monetization. No display ad units are currently active, so the site shows no ads — AdSense technology being present is not the same as display advertisements being served.
Where applicable, Google AdSense and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies for purposes such as ad delivery, frequency control, measurement, fraud prevention, security and — where permitted — advertising personalization. Actual behavior depends on your geographic location, your consent choices, your browser and device settings, Google’s own configuration, and whether an eligible advertisement is actually requested. Advertising cookies are not placed for every visitor in every situation.
If display advertising is enabled in the future, visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland will first be shown a consent banner (provided through a Google-certified consent solution) so you can accept or refuse personalized advertising; depending on your choice, any ads shown may be personalized or non-personalized. This page will be updated before any such change goes live. You can read how Google uses data in its partner-sites policy and manage ad personalization in Google’s My Ad Center.
Your choices
You can delete or block cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings. Blocking storage will not break the directory; the music player simply won't remember your preferences between visits.
